August 22, 2008: Hot, hot, hot day and the deep shade of the big maple didn't seem to provide much relief to the juvie red tail hawk.
August 21, 2008: Sub-adult red tail hawk checking out the lunch menu this afternoon.
August 19, 2008: The Elements, Shooting Session #3.
This was not the final photograph selected for the purpose of the shooting sessions, but I liked it so well I wanted to make it the daily.
August 18, 2008: After an attempt to raid...anything at the squirrel feeder, as casual and noncommittal as that was and resulting only in a barrage of scolding from the squirrels, apparently the top of one of the pre-release pens seemed like a good place to rethink the idea of where to get lunch.
August 17, 2008: Our friend returns again.
August 17, 2008: Patiently waiting for wings to dry on a warm summer night.
August 15, 2008: Wary watchfulness
August 11, 2008: The world from the top of one of the pre-release pens.
August 10, 2008: Taking a break from the frenzied pigeons in the bird feeder.
August 9, 2008: A wild weed (I've no idea which one it is, but it produces small black berries).
